(On my journey to work, Singapore)
As I’ve just decided to step down from the Choir Ministry, which I really wanted to be in, I asked God for the reason that why He wanted me to make this decision. How about my prophecy that Pastor Simon told me a year ago? How about the choir that I desire to see for our church, the choir of a thousand?
This is what God showed me, and I believe that this is what He desires for me to do – to build and to strengthen the youths – young men of Christ. God is looking for people who love Him. He looks into the hearts of His people. He’s searching for true worshippers who worship Him in spirit and in truth.
At this season of time, God put a burden in me to lead and guide, to train and equip the youths, including myself, to be able to worship and to love Him with all our hearts. He wants to see me growing in Him, leading the youths, serving and focusing in Impact to build His Kingdom and His people. Out of this group of people, there will be strong believers who will worship Him in spirit and in truth. Let it be the foundation of the future choir that will be made up of these young men who’s chasing after God’s heart. It’ll not be just a ministry, but will be a powerful ministry that shakes the earth.
Let me, right now, be shaped and equipped, so that I can be an example for others to follow. Let me be focused. All these are for the glory and the kingdom of God. Amen.
